Brief: To research, write and design an article for the prestigious graphic design magazine Eye.
For this project I had to familiar myself with the design and content of Eye magazine. Study in depth the precise measurements of the page, size of margins and the overall composition of the magazines design.
We were told to interview and gather images from one fellow student from a different course to do our article on. I chose first year Illustration student Rosina Rooke as my artist. She provided me the images of her work that I could use in the magazine and I asked her questions for the text that would accompany her work.
I used Adobe Illustrator to create the Eye magazine logo, the volume number '81' on the spine of the magazine cover and the barcode. I composed the entire layout and wrote the text.
